Throughout the year, the IWDC organizes events in certain places across the globe that not only supply the organisation with much needed donations from willing participants, but also brings the general public together in numbers, spreading the message about the threat wyverns pose to everyone, and making our community stronger as a whole. Below is a list of events set to occur for the rest of this year. Depending on where you are in the world, the events will only appear for your country.

The tenth annual Australian 'Run from Wyverns' Fun Run will take place from 10am-3pm at Eighty Mile Beach, south of Broome, WA. This site has been chosen as there is a low density population of wyverns and thus a lower risk of attack. However, please only a maximum of ten people at the Fun Run at a time, so as to reduce the risk of wyvern attraction. Please bring a minimum of $10 on the day (in coins). Coles jingles will be played throughout the day, as well as special guest feminists and herring to keep those pesky wyverns away. Tea and lemon cakes will be supplied. Be sure to dress up in your best polka dot outfit, same as every year. We hope to see you there!
